1. Worship God and let Him be your focus – it’s the spring of all peace, joy, and insights. How come I didn’t realize how much I have deviated from true worship at times – many times? Whenever you feel condemned, insecure, fearful, guilty, or whatever darkness, you are not thinking through God’s mind nor seeing through His eyes, then you know you have deviated from true worship.
2. Christ’s words look “elementary” comparing with other books in the New Testament or Old Testament, but if we don’t understand them in terms of Christ’s parables and commands, we will never appreciate and understand true power and dept of God’s words.
3. Anyone can fall from any level in the spiritual realm
4. Pastors maybe among the least in God’s kingdom… Be careful lest we lose our rewards in heaven.
5. We only see truth in ever increasing clarity while we abide in Christ, and in His presence, outside of Him we will only see things from our own eyes and that will lead to depression. Depression is the result of seeing things our ways instead of through His eyes from where He seats.
6. It’s natural for us to try to figure out why each time we fall, but trying to figure everything out will only lead us deeper in the mire. Just ask for help from Christ, show up before His throne, look up to Him. In His presence deceptions will fade and truth will prevail.
