Demonic Strongholds, Generational Curses

In the past week I have been doing some research on “generational curse, demons, and Christians” and am convinced that Christians do carry spirits with them in the faculties of their mind, soul, and body.

Demons do attach to different parts of the host’s body, such as the brain. It explains why many normal Christians can have supernatural mediocrity, poor memory, unexplainable clumsiness, and all kind of other disorders, mental illness, and diseases that can’t be explained.

Generational curses: I become convinced that Christians do carry generational curses, and even demonic spirits that came from ancestors. By accepting Christ, the curse of the law was broken by His blood, but that doesn’t automatically override demonic strongholds and other curses that have gained entry at some points in our life.

Demonic forces and curses require legal right in order to claim a victim, a lot of “casual” activities that a Christian does can open doors and grant legal rights to demons. A lot of innocent verbal teasing, promises, or careless words can form “verbal curses” that will stick with a Christian’s life for the rest of his life until he consciously discern the causes of the curses and break them by exercising his authority in Christ and shred blood of Christ.

I was once cursed by a pastor. Maybe he was in a foul mood or just feel like doing it. He passionately predicted that my entrepreneurial projects will fail, and it later turned out that none of my projects earn more than a few bucks, most not a cent. I forgave him and pleaded the blood of Christ over his curses.

I also learned and am convinced that a Christian can carry a curse of poverty. Those who carry this curse will walk in circle financially and whatever they do financially will fail: Job interview, professional exams, finding reference, and etc.

Today and yesterday I have been doing some self-deliverance, discerning any generational curses of own families and any legal right that had been given demons in my past. I was soon exhausted, and took a nap.

While I was waking up, I sensed someone opened the door of my room and walked in, and I thought it was my mom, but I couldn’t open my eyes. I think my “mental eyes” saw a female (In the appearance of my mom) in while robe wandered my room in circle. After a few seconds, I talked to Jesus and I was able to open my eyes, and saw no one.

I guess it was a demon probably because of the fact that I couldn’t move for a few seconds. Only demons would try to oppress and restraint our physical functions like that.

Demons had never dared confronting me in the past, because I know my authorities in Christ. I had always knew that the second I call “Jesus” all the evil forces would dissipate. I believe this is why I have never been in a severe abusive situation. Predators may have tried to prey on me, but protective hedge was around me.

My parents stopped physically disciplining me since I was 12. That year I really really prayed to God to ask such incidents to stop.

Knowing your right to request heavenly protection can make the difference between an abused childhood or a relatively “unmarred” one (No one can really have an unmarred earthly life, but what I meant by unmarred was not severely abused such as sexually abused unless it’s God will for you to suffer martyrdom or torture for your faith ).

I believe that kids have the obligation to cry out to God should they encounter any evil adult who tries to exploit them. The difference can be life and death. It can be a turning point in that child’s life. Whether the child may become a sexually abused victim really depends on whether she would cry out to God for deliverance or not.

A survivor asked where God was when he was being abused as a child. One time God revealed to him that He was right beside him during the ordeal, weeping because of what was happening.

True, this showed us how God love children. But I think if the survivor asked God to deliver Him at that point, it would have spared God’s tears. God would have been able to take action on his behalf if he asked. I think this is kind of a legal right thing. God must have the legal right to interfere with someone’s life miraculously. We give Him the legal right to rescue us by asking Him to do it.

It might not be the fault of the children to not knowing this. But we as Christians can educate our kids to exercise this right.

I will write more about demons, curses, and deliverance in the future.
