In the last 14 days, I have been frequently meeting with biblical minded Christians to pray and study the Bible, and also doing conscious proclamation of the word as led by the Holy Spirit.
God is leading us to restore His biblical Church in our neighborhood.
What we see is that today most churches don’t have the power that the early church has.
The problem is that they no longer follow the teaching and example of the early church.
For example, the early church let the Holy Spirit to choose their leaders. Only Spirit-filled Christian can become their leaders. There was no election and human intervention. People didn’t choose their own leaders.
The early church didn’t use scheme and human ideas to fulfill the Great Commission (Acts 1:8), but they went out to preach the full Gospel. (Mark 16: 15-18)
Manifestation of the Truth
2 Corinthians 4:2
2But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
They have the manifestation of God’s word. God’s word is not just for us to read about, but if we seriously believe in God’s word we have to exercise our faith to manifest the truth also.
No Monopolization Of God’s Word
1 Corinthians 14:26
26How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.
In the early church, there was not one pastor who did all the talk and monopolized the whole service, but people took turn to share what God prompted them to share, according to their unique gift.
The Result?
We are more spiritually alive than ever.
