I have waited long enough. Awhile ago I mentioned that how I subconsciously thought that stories in dramas, novels, TV, and movies seemed more exciting than mine. I couldn’t help but got drawn into the entertainments that fake stories offered me, instead of working on my own real life story.

The problem was my faith. Passive faith doesn’t work. In fact, my life sometime manifested events and things that were opposite of what God promised in His Words. Later, I discovered that simply by believing in His words mentally and not following them up won’t work. You have to actively pursue the promises of God, and tell your life to align with them.

Romans 8: 31 -39

“31What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?… 37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[m] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Matthew 11:12

From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it.

Hebrews 7:11-12

12We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.

Every born again Christian has faith of the size of a mustard seed. The difference is how often we exercise the faith we have. We have the words of God, and we need to reinforce our faith in the promise by confessing it with our mouth and believing it fully in the heart. The circumstance might not fall in line with our faith, and what we need to do is to rebuke the circumstance with the words, until it obeys.

The faith of Jesus spoke only once. Whatever He commanded must obey at ONCE. Our faith might not be as strong as Jesus’, so we need to do it repeatedly until it works. We work our faith until it works. If we are not working it then it won’t work.

Now I decide to be a conqueror for everything that is within my sphere of influence. Everything I see that contradicts with the words of God I will condemn and command. Isn’t it what being a Christian is about?

I will seize income, opportunity, relationship, and all good things I need and see fit, and whoever and whatever stands in my way before my blessings are the mountains. I will not stop before any mountain like I used to. I was too soft, too gullible, and too wimpy. As soon as mountain appears, I politely walked around it or climbed through it in silence, instead of removing it. I interpreted closed doors and missed opportunities as either the will of God, or my own failures. I was too slow to realized that the only person who came to kill, steal, and destroy was Satan, not God. God doesn’t like us to be hindered by obstacles, but to conquer our obstacles.

My only failure was that I didn’t exercise my biblical faith enough.

I am going out to build New Testament Church, and share my thoughts on YouTube and conquer the viewers. I will be servant for many and rule. I will conquer. I will be on top, not bottom! Amen

On the surface, positive thinking is similar to words of faith Christianity, but it’s very different.

Positive thinking avoid convictions. It can’t repent, or admit wrong. Everything has to be positive, even if the elephant is in the room.

It’s legalistic, which makes you feel like you are doing something good but it isn’t. Positive thinking doesn’t deliver. Positive thinking isn’t back up by solid truth, which is powerful and unchanging. It makes you feel good, but feeling is nothing. You can feel what you want. You can feel like you can achieve anything, but the circumstance isn’t obligated to obey your feeling, nor your feeble belief.

Words of faith, however, can deliver in any circumstance, over any opposition. There are many evil circumstances and “negative” people on earth. We can never avoid all “negative energy”. With the words of God, whatever promise in the Bible you believe without doubt will deliver, and override any circumstance and verbal curse that people can ever utter. It delivers and produces regardless of what other people say or feel.

You don’t have to feel good. You don’t have to find something positive in everything to talk about or to be thankful for. You don’t have to visualize the future you want to create. You only have to agree with God’s words and disagree with anything that contradict it. Be thankful because God is going to bless you according to His words, not because of whatever evils that He “allowed” into your life. Satan is the one who steal, kill, and destroy, not God.

You keep believing, and keep rebuking anything that contradicts His words. You keep verbalize your faith and reaffirm you convictions, and then bloom, it will deliver.

And when it delivers, it feels unearthly. It feels distant. It feels like as though I was not the one who experienced what I just experienced. It feels like everything somehow worked according to what the words of God says it should work.

In fact, if I feel anything at all it might have been stress. I feel like I am such a broken, small vessel to contain the power of God. I feel like my flesh was so feeble that I couldn’t have achieved what I did achieve. I was simply dragged along by the perfect and miraculous power of His words. Even the drag feels too stretched for my inflexible self. I was so slow and clumsy, comparing with the power of God that is dragging me to a high level I cannot achieve in my own comfort zone and level of competence.

Words of faith is for militant, warrior, and conqueror. Such people are not afraid of the enemies. Positive thinking folks have to avoid negatives at all times. But the words of faith warrior confront the evil and dark world. Positive thinking try to think things into existence, but what they don’t know is ‘WHO’ is helping them to materialize their thought. They call it the universal power source, or supreme being. We call him Satan.

This world is filled with demons and Satanic angels. Unbelievers are under their manipulations. Only God or Satanic beings will ever make something out of nothing in this world. So if you are not with God, you are with Satan, and that’s what positive thinking is really powered by.

The problem is many Christian mixed word of faith with positive thinking, and cannot distinguish which one they are really practicing. Satan will be very happy to lend you a hand and materialize whatever you want to manifest, as long as he can pull you further and further into witchcraft. At least he will confuse you so you can’t practice the pure word of God if he can’t bribe you into his kingdom.

You might think that I learned the positive thinking before I entered the land of milk and honey in the realm of words of faith. No, I stumbled upon the principle of words of faith first, without knowing what it really was, but I got to experience some results, then I got confused by positive thinking and other empty teachings. I also get confused by people who didn’t really know what words of faith theology was, but tried to teach me how to meditate on God’s words and stuff. They wrote so many books for it too, which successfully wasted me so much time.

Because of what the denominational, institutional churches have been teaching me. They taught their invented doctrines and human tradition, instead of the plain words of God.

All these years, I imagined many things that I thought God has told me. I thought the hardships that I have been through have meanings, or spiritual lessons to be learned from, and I thought I have learned something spiritual each time.

Now I learned I really haven’t learned as much as I imagined. I am going through multiple crises of faith right now, because suddenly, I realized the God that I have loved so much didn’t really talk to me the way I imagined He did, and He didn’t really do for me many of the things that I imagined He would do for me.

12 years of going to church, and I found out that I had been somewhat deceived and distracted by human doctrines and traditions, instead of believing the plain, obvious meaning of the words of God.

If you have read my previous journal entries, you know I have faced evil circumstances and string of negative experiences that I didn’t really think I deserved. Churchy people would say things like, “Oh! God didn’t promise the sky always blue!” “Whatever happens is God’s will!”

No, evil isn’t God’s will. It’s Satan’s will. For example, I noticed that many Christians are going through tragedies that the Bible says God would protect them from, such as premature death from murder or terminal diseases. What’s the deal here?
I believe they were like me. We assumed that if we have a relationship with God, then everything will be in God’s hands.

This is such a un-biblical belief. I think the correct belief is God wants us to fight. He wants us to use the Bible to remind Him of His promises, and certainly to remind Satan of the truth just like Jesus did (Luke 4:1-13).

Also, the correct thing to do is to command the evil circumstance to work for you instead of against you. I have put up with evil circumstance for so long and so many times before, because I didn’t know I could have rebuked it like Jesus did in Matthew 8:23-27.

Don’t ever imagine God has something secretive to teach you for allowing you to go through evil. The only lesson to be learned from confronting evil is to conquer it, turn it away, or cast it out with faith. The major thing you will develop from going through evil is faith, and it’s conquering faith. Faith that doesn’t produce good results isn’t faith. Most institutional churches don’t teach biblical faith, but they teach another kind of faith that doesn’t produce.

Don’t put up with misfortune, mediocrity, postponement, disease, poverty, failures, or whatever adversity and call them God’s will. God’s will is always to heal, prosper, liberate, promote, and all kind of other good things. God is good all the time.

If God already tells you His will in plain words of the Bible, don’t ever ask Him for more “revelation”, because He already revealed enough for you to understand it. If you don’t believe or obey it, then you are sinning. You start to make things up about God. You will over-spiritualize the scriptures and read into it meanings that it doesn’t have.

Suddenly I realize that the reason I can’t help but sometime indulge in TV/movies drama and gaming was because I was not satisfied with my life. I would rather watch someone’s life or live a virtual life than engaging in the real one.

That explained a lot of thing. I have never realized that I was not really happy with a lot of things in my life, and therefore had to escape from it many times. I thought I was Christian so I had a good life. The Bible says, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10)

In my earlier posts I explained my sorrows because Satan had stolen a lot from me. If you keep track of what he has stolen from you, then you too, might feel what I felt.

In the last months, a lot of thoughts have been going through my head. They are “negative” thoughts that challenge the characters and existence of the Biblical God.

My personal experience seemed to contradict with the promises of God in almost every major area of my life. It also indicated what many unbelievers said about my faith were turning out to be true.

For example, the Bible says:

Ecclesiastes 5:18-19

18 Then I realized that it is good and proper for a man to eat and drink, and to find satisfaction in his toilsome labor under the sun during the few days of life God has given him—for this is his lot. 19 Moreover, when God gives any man wealth and possessions, and enables him to enjoy them, to accept his lot and be happy in his work—this is a gift of God. 20 He seldom reflects on the days of his life, because God keeps him occupied with gladness of heart.

I had been working hard, but didn’t get to enjoy the fruits of my labor. I reflect the days of my life a tons and feel miserable many times!

A lot of my beliefs had also turned out to be useless, unfulfilled, impractical, and counter-productive after encountering the test of reality. In the past, I saw it as necessary tests or lessons. But when I honestly looked at the Bible and compare what it says and what I experience, a crisis of faith emerges.

It is a good crisis. I think if I go through this and still find reasons to believe in the biblical God, then my faith will become true and powerful. I will experience a great breakthrough. If not, the worst case is that I might realize that it is a heap of lies. I might move on to achieve my own success and use the remainder of my life more effectively, without the burden of false beliefs.

I am income-less. I still suffer more health problem after many years of praying for it. Many of dreams and hopes didn’t get fulfilled. To add salt to the injuries, the reality sometimes went to the worst directions that I could have possibly imagined.

And I seldom experienced the miracles and supernatural dreams or prophesies that the Bible promised (Mark 16:17-18; Acts 2:17-18).

Nevertheless, I survived. Not because of my great faith or skills. But it just seemed that Satan isn’t allowed to go any further than he was able to. I lived on borrowed time and money. I drained other people resource to survive. Unbelievers supported my living expense and all that. This too, was what I feared many years ago, and not this fear manifested, to my dismay. A lot of my fears manifested, in fact.

A pastor scolded me and said I think too much and was unable to focus because of that. He said this was why I couldn’t land a job. His remark probably has some truth in it. His way of achieving success is based on not meditating on the words of God. It actually occurred to me that a lot of “christians” are doing what this pastor said, they said they believe in the Bible, but they don’t really give it much thought and they focus on what they really want in life.

A lot of my “christian” friends got what they wanted. I remembered how I admonished some of them to seek God’s will and pray and all that, but today I am one of the fewest persons I know who is jobless, incomeless, girlfriend-less, and all. Almost everyone achieved things that they decided to seek after when we were in college. And I have my Christian ministry, the blog bible-verses-insights.com.

Satan, I guess it was him, was trying to convince me to fornicate and leave God, if He existed and was in fact the Biblical God after all.

The Way Out For My Situation: The Warrior Mindset

The only branch of Christianity that is able to explain my situation is the word of faith group. Basically they believe that if the Biblical promises and truth don’t manifest in your life, it is either Satan’s work or lack of faith or both. After digesting their teaching and meditate on it repeatedly, I found this model to be very good at explaining my life experience. Note that I say “explaining” doesn’t mean it has to be true. At least it answers my questions without contradict its own belief system.

More importantly, I felt prompted and convicted by the Spirit of God to accept the teaching, unless it was actually me who created all this prompting and convictions because I was too deeply entrenched into my own faith.

I believe that you can think through everything and prepare everything for anything and still fail, because there are spiritual forces working against you. On the other hand, you can invest half the time and energy everyone invest in certain thing and still make it, because the spiritual forces allow you to.

I believe because I am a biblical Christian, the spiritual forces are working against me every cinch of my way. This is why my life is so hard and why unbelievers and unbiblical “Christians” around me all make it to their goals. A lot of them actually scolded me when given a chance. It really shows that the kingdom of God is a battle. If your life doesn’t show power and glory of God, no one will believe God because of you.

This shouldn’t be. My life should totally reflect the promises of God and awe everyone around me. I am sure a lot of people will accept Christ if only they see the power reveals in my life.

I think I am not warrior enough. Yes I have the promises and authority of God, but if I don’t exercise my rights and authority, the spiritual force of Satan will bully me.

I have to exercise my authority to command my circumstance, enemies, health, relationships, and all to mend toward the words of God say they should be, just like how Jesus rebukes the seas and cursed the tree (Matt 8:24-27; Mark 11:20).

What If This Is It?

If even the word of faith belief turned out to be wrong, then I don’t know. I will share my result for sure.

Satan has been speaking to my ears, loud and clear. I hear every word.

It usually takes a while for me to fully confirm that it’s from him. The message might be long and convincing, but at the end it persuades me to doubt His goodness and His promises.

I know I got dozens of unanswered prayers and a lot of sad memories of things that seemed to have gone the opposite of what God promised me in the Bible. Satan has plenty of bullies to use to slander God.

It might have been the 12th time it attacked me since last month.

Here is the list of the attacks:

If God is so good, then why did He allow the dark age, which for thousands of years, had deprived the people of the Bible and let the Catholic Church to devour the people?

If God really is faithful, then why didn’t He heal my sickness like He promised in Mark 16 and other many verses?

If God is real, then why everything seems to go the opposite of what God promised in general?

If God is so loving, then why did He allow many religions and institutional churches to devour the sheeps?

If God is loving, then why does He allow wicked people to have the resource to continue their wickedness?

If God is faithful, why does He keep me under my godless parents financially? Why not demonstrate His faithfulness by having me provide for my family as the only Christian in the family

I don’t know how to answer those questions, but I choose to declare what the Bible says about God. In the name of Jesus Christ, I rebuke Satan and refuse to agree with anything that contradict with God’s words.

I know that true Christians will come to this point like I did, sooner or later in their own pilgrimage. I hope this post will help them deal with it, like I hoped someone had written something that sooth my soul during a time like this.

Remember, don’t let Satan has his way. One third of the angels rebelled God because of his slanders against God. Don’t repeat their mistakes!

True faith is proclaiming God’s word, believing in the heart by conscious choices, regardless of the circumstance, until it manifests.

Just finished watching a Glenn Beck show on June 08. He talked about the book, “The Road To Surfdom”. I think he did a great job.

The only way for us to figure our future is to figure out our past. A lot of people are believing the governments and policy driven economy. They didn’t know enough about the past to understand the horrors and poverty that central planning political systems have so far created. I don’t have the time here to explain all of it, but I want to talk about the attitude of some Christian in the midst of economic crises for US.

They seem to say things that are basically “I told you so”. They commented about how immoral, overspent, and godless US has become and that financial crisis is judgment from God.

Instead of telling people the truth about the true enemies who caused all these economic problems, they feel vindicated and focus on just that.

We have more Christians today than yesterday. We know more than previous generations do. If anything, the church has only made progress. The kingdom of God is expanding. During economic crisis, we have the risks of going back to the dark age. The governments want to take over, plan everything, and run everything for us. If they succeed, the lost of prosperity and liberty will surely lead to major annihilation and persecution of the true church of God.

This is not a time for us Christians judge and condemn, but to really expose the enemies and the real issue. The enemies are stealing from our economy and use those money to sponsor abortion, pornography, godless legislation, hideous black opts, and dozens of other terrible activities. We use to have men supporting the entire families, then both men and women have to both working to make end meets, and now we have young people in their adults struggling to find jobs. We just cannot afford to let the enemies gain even more grounds.

I had been proclaiming words of faith and promises of God with a friend of mine for about 6 months. Then 2 weeks earlier I felt led to investigate something and found a product that could potentially be a very good product for me to sell online, with little money to invest and only a week or two to make that happen.

We completely agreed that this opportunity manifested because of our word of faith. If we had been negative, we wouldn’t had encountered this opportunity.

So we went to work on setting up shop to sell this product for about a week, and then I got sick for a few days and things got slowed down a bit as the project was getting finished. There was a spiritual warfare going on, which I believed was Satan trying to sabotage our project and made us doubt.

Things looked bright though. When I was sick I just kept on visualizing the prospect of developing something big, something comprehensive, for God online. Basically, me and my friend will be building more income-generating assets like this one we were doing, and start creating Youtube videos, article marketing campaigns, and other online and offline marketing outlets to market our Lord Jesus Christ and the full Gospel.

Full Gospel means the whole truth, not some “once saved always saved” or “find a local church and just join them and you will be fine” kind of well-intended deceptions.

It also includes miracle healing and deliverance from evil spirits.

That’s the long term goal. Let’s go back to our small project to sell this product online.

In this project, we learned one important thing — make your project doable and manageable within a reasonable time frame. While we should dream big, we should always partition our dream into manageable, achievable, implementable, measurable, and profitable portions. Don’t shoot for the star right from the start.

Another thing is, focus. Don’t jump from one project to another before the first one is built and running. Create a project that give you momentum to achieve more for the next ones. If it’s an asset, then make sure it generates ongoing income first. Don’t starve yourself by doing one gigantic project that won’t see result until a year later.

Third is, take actions. Accept the fact that every action involve some risk and opportunity cost. But the biggest risk is spending time doing nothing that lead to income.

After you settle for the best choice you can find within a reasonable time frame, just do it. Stop looking around for greener pasture. Just finish the project you have on hand. Don’t keep studying and practicing but do nothing that directly lead to income. You must stop studying and researching at certain point. If you really have to spend a long time on research because the project is much bigger than you can handle with the knowledge and skill you already have, then it’s too big for you, go back to the first lesson I just shared.

When you get your first project running, then you have the feedback and experience which you can build upon for the next one.

Time management should be revelation based, not self based.

Jesus said that the church is built upon revelations. If the church is built upon the solid foundation of revelations, then the gate of Hell cannot prevail her. (Matthew 16:13-18)

In order to live according to daily revelations, we are to give up everything and go wherever Jesus goes. (Matthew 8:18-22; Matthew 13:44-46; Revelation 14:4)

Jesus has ascended to heaven, but now we have the Holy Spirit, and through Him we can receive instant revelation anytime.

If we want to experience the power of divine management, then we have to wait for guidance, receive revelations, and then do.

Simon experienced the reward of divine time management for the first time when he served Jesus, waited for him, listened to him preaching for an entire day, before he went about his own business as a fisherman.

Luke 5

1And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,

2And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.

3And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.

4Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

5And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

6And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

7And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.

We can learn from Simon’s lesson. He was a professional fisherman. He had worked on his business for an entire night and got nothing, but after he listened to Jesus’ instruction, he got great result.

Today, Jesus is not on earth, but His Holy Spirit is here. We can listen from the Holy Spirit all the time and receive timely instruction from Him.

The world we live is more than 3-dimension. But our senses cannot sense beyond the 3rd dimension.

But the Bible says God gives us the task of discerning the reasons behind what is seen:

Ecclesiastes 1:13

13And I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven: this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man to be exercised therewith.

Proverbs 25:2

2It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.

A bout of anger, depression, joy, or whatever. An inspiration. An epiphany. A breakthrough. An encounter. Everything has its spiritual root. It can be from the devils, or it can be from God.

I believe that spiritual forces have been shaping our world more than we imagine.

That’s why we have to live by faith, use our discernment instead sights, and receive daily instruction from God to fight the spiritual war.

17Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Today, I realized that I had lost almost every major hope in every area of my life: love, family, career, finance, purity, honor, ministry, and health.

I am still in one piece. Thank God for my parents, because I am still jobless and still rely on my parents.

If I know a way to get out of this, I already did. And I think I did, because I was finally given the solution. Read my previous journal entries if you want to know more. Right now, I am just expectantly waiting for the manifestation of God’s promised prosperity.

I really believe that it was God who has reduced me to this, or at least for years He has allowed this to happen, in spite of my prayers and cries. Because of my reduction to obscurity, I realized the true need to rely fully on God, and that I am nothing without Him.

Many people have the same problems too, but are they willing to open their spiritual eyes to see their situation? Their situation is this: “thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked”.

Many people live like the riches, but have negative net worth. (for example, going to Cheesecake factory, eat out four times a week, buy expensive stuff, all by credit card)

Many people are functioning, but only if they still get their expensive prescription drugs. (Depression? Take this pill)

Many people have regrets, but they repressed them with positive thinking.

Many Church goers go to church every week, but they have nothing except human tradition, doctrines of deceptions, and a bunch of other boring, irrelevant teachings in their heads. Many of them were sincere and teachable, but each week they were slowly being taught to become religious rebels.

They are miserable, but when God knocks on their doors, they suddenly feel better and tell Him that “I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing”.

And they really believe that.

I think that’s because humans can’t survive if they always have perfect consciousness and awareness of their problems. You have to somehow separate your reality from your consciousness in order to function in this harsh life without God, or, if you are one of the church goers, without being God-centered.

For me, only when I have been repeatedly brought back to a low point every now and then, do I realize the truth— that I need to reject those doctrines of deceptions, that I need to embrace what the Bible really says about prosperity, that I should really live by faith each day, and that I have to admit that many the real, biblical teachings that were lost in most of our institutional churches today.

Only then, can I really glorify God.
